William F. WHITECOTTON, 82 a native of Putnam co, died Saturday morning at Culver Hospital after a serious illness of several months. He was born Sept 12, 1868, the son of Harrison and Margaret Rogers Whitecotton. He was married to Elizabeth Plunkett of Advance. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow; 3 sons, Walter of Crawfordsville; Fred and John of Waveland; 3 daughters, Mrs. Opal Gilbert of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Myrtle Priebe of Waveland and Mrs. Mary Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 24 greats. Two daughters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon at Freedom Church. Burial was made in Freedom cemetery. - kbz
